Islam in Arabic a participle of a word” Yos-li-mo” present tense, “as-la-ma” past tense, meaning to yield or to submit. Yield and submit to what? To the natural forces of life! To our kings and rulers, to our desires and emotions, to our drives and greed, to our thirst to power, to our motives and aims. All these mentioned are leads and traces, not objects to submission. Because they increase and decrease in the self, and it varies from environments to another.

When we were young, and were driven by the various human traditions of values, and the strength of the self and its influence will gradually change, as we dwell in life and become older. Many of those influential drives and motives in ourselves will diminish or fade away partially or totally, and some might remain and needed to be abolish or to be modified. At the end of this track; the self will be perplexed, confused, comparing its situation presently to its past one, and asking what had happened? A great change; physical as well as spiritual had taken this self from one extreme to another. Yesterday, it was young and full of energy and activities, and now it had been restrained to end up weak, sometimes helpless. And now the term for submission had changed within the self, even when its environments had changed to absorb some of its lacking’s.

Say, if the self could not walk, a mechanical help can assist it and be available, this deals with the physical side aspect of the self. The spiritual side can go into different change that could not be described because it deals with the emotions and the feelings that cover the dogma of the faith. It could end up in the road of submission where it can settle and be contented.

A great change of physical as well as spiritual had taken this self from one extreme to another, yesterday it was young full of energy, and activities now it had been restrained and become weak and helpless. Now the term of submission had changed within this self. If its environments had changed to absorb some of its lacking. To say if this self can not walk, may be a mechanical help is available, this deals only with the physical side of it, but the spiritual side will go into different change, that can not be drawn, or presented in any shape or even described, confusion of its spiritual half, will end in one road, called true the submission.

This is how the book of Islam the Holy Quran describes the self in chapter Al-Haj (the pilgrimage) verse 22:5.

“Oh! Humankind if you were in doubt of the day of resurrection, we had created you from soil; then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot, then from a lump of flesh, formed and unformed, so can manifest to you, and We settle in the wombs whom We will for specified term, then We bring you out as a child, then We develop you to be mature, and from among you who die early, and from among those who reach to be decrepit, so he will know nothing after having knowledge. And when you see the earth barren dry, then We send down rain it quivers and swells, and bring forth pleasant pairs of plants. That is Allah the Truth, the One who grant the deeds to resurrect He is the One who has the power over everything. This is to declare that the Hour of Doom is coming surely without a doubt, surely Allah will resurrect all those who are in their graves”.

Submission means Islam, submission is that to give to your Creator your love and your sincerity, emotions and devotions. Islam is the way of life obtained from the whole truth; the words of Almighty Allah, (God) and from His Holy Book the Quran reveled 1500 years ago unto the prophet Mohammed peace be on him. Adam had submitted directly to his Creator to be the first Moslem. That relation was distorted when Adam allowed one of his emotional doubt and curiosity to disturb that total submission.

He was deviated from the word of Allah (God) the Almighty, and did not do what he was supposed to do, that split in Adam’s self, and had caused the expulsion of God Almighty to him from heaven. The place where he had total peace and security, without any worries about thirst or hunger. Everything was secured for him and at his reach and command. He did not have to trouble himself into any struggle to obtain all his necessary needs, it were there for him and his wife trouble-free.

He had regretted that deviation, that costed him the expulsion of good living in heaven, and to dwell down into earth . To have to struggle for everything, he needed and wanted. He passed the Faith of Submission to his off springs, to continue in the new stream of life without deserting or exchanging.

Naturally that was a test by the Almighty to mankind to verify those who will continue on to the path of Submission, and those who will deviate and dwell into corruption.

It was passed on to Noah, the only sub- missioner before the great flood, he was ordered to build the Arch, to gather those few sub missioner and believers in it, to be saved from the wrath of God, when He decided to rid this earth from those who do not want to submit to Him.

Noah passed that faith on to Abraham another lonely sub-missioner, among his people with their total desertion and idols worshipping.

He dwelled westward towards “ Can-an” land.

Then he passed it on to his off springs Ismail, and Isaac where they preached it to their people and continued the course of this faith.

They passed it on to their off springs Jacob, David, Solomon and to Moses, where he received it in sets of commandments and laws, to pass on to his people the Israelites, whom they were the first nation of submariners ever to receive and to pass on with its guidance to all Mankind. They restrained it and kept it for themselves. Till Jesus was sent to take it back and preached it to all the inhabitant of Canaan, reaffirm what was revealed unto Moses of revelations, make lawful what was forbidden to the children of Israel, and renounce what they were doing of evil, he tried to retract them back to the faith of submission correctly.

He passed it unto the spirit of the truth, Mohammed, peace be on them all, to be labeled as the Final and the Whole Truth.

When the prophet hood was taken away from the children of Jacob, the off springs of Isaac the off springs of Abraham, to the Arabs the off springs of Ishmael, the off springs of Abraham. To take the Submission Faith corrected in fullness completed to Mankind, to spread it never to hide it, to teach it not to conceal it, to preach it not to confuse it, and to stand witness to all Mankind to make sure that every land every house every person, and every mind to be told about it, and should know about it. For this is the final truth of God to them to all Mankind.

Very important to know, none of those mentioned prophets before Mohammed peace be on him them had declared or uttered anything else, but the word of submission (Islam). Abraham was the founder of this faith, the father of all prophets, never said “I am so and so for this your religion should be called accordingly”. Moses never utter any of those modern labels of religion (Judaism) he never said: “I am Jewish therefore your religion will be called Judaism”.

He was always a submissioner to his Commander the Almighty. Nor Jesus ever utter Christianity to be the faith, he never said: “I am Christian, and your faith should be called Christianity” on the contrary he preached the Faith of submission in every word he said.

Never the prophets of God Almighty had invented their religions or labeled them the way their people wanted; their faith was always the faith of submission.

What we are having today are fabricated labels and names for religions. Since the source of all revelations is One, then why should there be four or five named of labels for religion? Only Humankind had done this, to confuse themselves, and from among those who seek fame and acknowledgment, or simply to deviate from the Creator.

He knows our strengths, and our weakness, He knows our inner thoughts and our needs, He injected Religion into our minds, in graduation for it would be impossible for Moses to carry the Whole Truth of all God’s revelations, commandments and laws.

Realistically it was a great burden for the followers of Moses then to carry out whatever was of that limited revelation to proceed with, then it was prevented from reaching others whom were misled, or where the follower of idealism, Same thing was with Jesus he was not give any laws or commandment he came to the lost house of Israel, to reaffirm Moses teaching, and bring back those who were deviated from the faith of submission. Permit some of what was not permitted and remove some of their pain and suffering. Also gave them the good news of glad tiding, of the coming of the Whole Truth the whole Submission Islam.

The laws and commandments with the containments of all previous revelations he was denied by many, because he challenged the authority of the high priests and rabbis, accepted by few, and those few who had accepted him, were lacking to carry it. (Read if you may John chap. 16).

Therefore, Islam was not new in this world, it was born by the birth of the first Man Adam. It seemed that the World is still in total ignorance of its steam, accepting what was pushed to on from the forefathers without searching for the Truth. They refused to look into it fearing not God Almighty, but one another.

For anyone to understand what Islam is all about, he or she must read the book of Islam Al-Qur’an’. The total containment of revelations laws and commandments to govern individuals and societies, in relation to their Creator. Islam is the Total Faith for the total Humankind, never for the Arabs alone, they were the conduit to its spreading throughout the world and to the family of Humanity.
